Betty Suprowich

Born in England, Betty Suprowich moved to Canada with her family as a child. She grew up in Alberta and moved to Manitoba in 1960. Having always enjoyed drawing, she took up painting after raising her family.
Recently, Suprowich has begun to experiment with her painting techniques, seeking innovative ways of using paint and colour. Her work has moved from representational landscapes to abstraction, as she continues to be inspired by the Canadian landscape that surrounds her.
