Lori Ferguson

Winnipeg artist Lori Ferguson expresses her belief that the inevitability of change is the only real constant in life through paintings that evoke a sense of shifting and movement. She loves to paint common and seemingly tangible items in a way that shows both their lasting nostalgic impact on our lives, as well their impermanence as they fleetingly appear and disappear from our daily realities.

Full of characteristic brush strokes and a palpable quality of energy, Lori’s paintings are alive with energy and motion. Using oil paint as her main weapon of choice, she expects that her work will elicit a response to both the familiar and the unexpected in her passionately painted forms.

Lori has exhibited her work in a number of solo and group exhibitions and galleries. Her paintings can be found in private collections throughout Canada and the United States.
